Living at Boyd Farming...
We have 2 workers villages on our farms to avoid overcrowding on one site. Our staff are housed in shared dormitories with separate showers, toilets & kitchen facilities. We realise that good basic facilities are essential for the well being of our workers & that a good village atmosphere encourages positive attitudes to work. Every year we invest to improve the facilities we offer.
We organise cleaning of the shared facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen etc) on a daily basis. We also offer a laundrette service for all our workers weekly. There is a bus service to take everyone to the local supermarket weekly & weekend transport for shopping in Southampton & to other places of interest (e.g. London, Brighton, Bath, Oxford, Stonehenge etc.).
For those interested in sports, we offer - Football, Volleyball, Pool Table, Tennis and Fitness Training (competitions are organised for anyone interested.)
For those less sporty, we have general recreational facilities available:
- Internet
- BBQ area, with parties organised regularly
- Many walks and cycle track in the beautiful New Forest which is on our doorstep
- Historic villages of Beaulieu and Bucklers Hard within 5kms
- National Motor Museum at Beaulieu
- Beautiful beaches at Bournemouth and Sandbanks (45 mins)
- We organise regular parties often with a disco.
Above all, this is a beautiful area in the middle of the New Forest National Park. There is easy access to all the above attractions.
